Quick Write

“The essence of obedience consists in the fact that a person comes to view himself as the instrument for carrying out another person’s wishes, and he therefore no longer considers himself responsible for his actions.”

  • My interpretation for this quote is, when an individual is being told to obey. The person no longer sees himself as being responsible for the actions they make, once they are told to follow the order that has been giving to them they are no longer in charge of the outcome that occurs.

They are no longer in charge of the outcome or they no longer feel responsible for the outcome? Your first sentence is a fragment.
